
There I stood looking at my report card, this was before pre-emailed grades this was before going online to see your grades. This is what it was like, completely old school. I stared at my report card and out of seven subjects I had received six F’s. Not just any F’s, these were written in red ink.
The thought of the day was to make sure when your parents, who had to sign your report card, acknowledge they had seen it, they would notice the red ink. In my case it was,as my one friend stated, “It look’s like a blood bank you’re going to need a ambulance to take you home!” Well he was almost right, I might need an ambulance to take me from home, soon enough.”
